In a bid to salvage her rocky relationship and re-discover her artistic self, a struggling theatre actor joins her famous girlfriend in Malta while she stars in a new film. However, after a chance encounter with an enigmatic local, her plan for reconciliation is sidetracked, forcing the couple to face truths about their relationship and life goals.
