Hi, I’m Ivan Malekin, a filmmaker and editor with over 15 years of experience in storytelling through film. I’ve lost count of how many independent projects I’ve worked on, but what I do know is that I thrive on crafting compelling narratives, shaping raw footage into something powerful, and collaborating with filmmakers who are as passionate about their stories as I am.
Films I’ve edited have been distributed worldwide, from features to documentaries, each with its own unique heartbeat. Being an independent filmmaker myself, I understand the hustle — the long hours, the tight budgets, the sheer determination to bring a vision to life. That’s why I love working with fellow storytellers who are pushing boundaries, experimenting, and making something meaningful.
