“Intentionally provocative and thought-provoking”
Isla is an international student barely holding her life together. Overworked, directionless, and drowning financially, she reluctantly enters the world of webcam modelling after encouragement from her reckless, extroverted bestie Fay.
What begins as survival soon becomes transformation. Drawing inspiration from her lifelong love of anime and cosplay, Isla reinvents herself online and discovers confidence, attention, and financial freedom. But the deeper she disappears into the digital persona she’s created, the harder it becomes to separate performance from reality.
Set against the blurred lines of internet intimacy, fandom culture, and online commodification, ForeFans is a provocative and intimate character study about identity, loneliness, and the cost of being seen.
